Position Overview

The Manager (Structural Design) is responsible for leading the structural design activities of infrastructure projects, including dams, barrages, canals, intakes, water treatment plants (WTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), ESR, sumps, roads, bridges, buildings and precast structures. This role requires expertise in structural analysis, design optimization, stakeholder engagement, and the approval of designs to ensure adherence to industry standards, project requirements, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Structural Design Leadership: o Lead the structural design of complex infrastructure projects such as dams, barrages, canals, WTPs, STPs, ESR, Sumps, roads, bridges, buildings and precast structures. o Develop and review structural analysis and design calculations using advanced engineering tools and software.

2. Design Approval: Oversee and approve all structural design drawings, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes. o Coordinate with project teams for timely delivery and approval of designs.

3. Optimization: Conduct value engineering and optimize designs to improve project efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure sustainability without compromising quality and safety. o Innovate solutions to address site-specific challenges.

4. Client Engagement: Attend client and stakeholder meetings to discuss project requirements, present design solutions, and address queries. o Provide technical guidance to clients and ensure their expectations are met.

5. Team Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineers, to integrate structural designs seamlessly. o Mentor and provide technical direction to junior engineers and designers.

6. Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs adhere to national and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. o Stay updated on advancements in structural design techniques and technologies.

7. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and design documentation. o Maintain thorough records of design iterations, approvals, and client communications.

Qualifications and Experience:
